ASCENT AND DESCENT
FOOTPATH: STARTING POINT PARKING LOT (BASE STATION OF CASTLE LIFT)
Walk around the castle and take the historic footpath up to the upper castle.
Duration: approx. 40 minutes
FOOTPATH: START RIEGERSBURG TOWN (PARISH CHURCH)
Walk directly via the historic footpath to the upper castle.
Duration: approx. 15-20 minutes
CASTLE LIFT
Fast & comfortable with our inclined lift.
Duration: approx. 20-30 minutes
(Depending on group size / The cabin accommodates 20 people)
CASTLE TOUR
Lively guided tours make Riegersburg an experience. In the castle museum, you can learn a lot about the culture and history of our country in the 17th century. The famous White Hall will make children’s eyes light up as the grand finale.

BIRDS OF PREY SHOW
The birds of prey are a special attraction at Riegersburg. In the impressive flight displays, the kings of the skies showcase their majestic flying skills. When they fly overhead, you can even feel the breeze from their wings.
Duration: approx. 50 minutes
Flight demonstrations daily (except in case of heavy rain):
Monday through Saturday: 11:00am and 3:00pm
Sunday and public holidays: 11:00am, 2:00pm and 4:00pm
Entry to the flight show is at least ½ hour before the start!

In our castle tavern, with its cozy outdoor seating, beautiful panoramic views, and large playground, spots can be reserved for the class.

EDUCATORS DAY
FREE ADMISSION FOR EDUCATORS
We invite all educators to an excursion day to Riegersburg Castle. No reservation necessary.
Simply provide your name and school at the ticket office on 10 July or 4 September 2025. The free ticket includes the ascent and descent (castle path or lift), the visit to the castle interiors including museums, and the birds of prey show.
